(WPMU-MS) Page redirect loop on configuration
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:18 pm
Hi,
I tried many times to configure w3all phpBB integration, without success.
This is my set-up:
PhpBB 3.1.10
Wordpress 4.7.2–en_GB - in Multisite mode
Many members are registered on my forum but none on Wordpress, so I want to share the forum membership database with Wordpress (only allowing new registrations through phpBB).
I have w3all installed (but not network activated).
I activate w3all in one of my multisites, go to Settings and get "WARNING! Wp w3all miss phpBB configuration file (or you have the phpBB config.php not well configured):"
I follow instructions for manual configuration (create config.php file in wp-w3all-config directory and type correct absolute path to it).
When I save settings I get "The page isn’t redirecting properly"
I also tied pointing to config.php in the phpBB directory, with the same result.
I should point out, I'm not using subdomains.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions as I don't have any ideas about what to try next.
