Plugin Conflict

Hi,

I have just discovered that WordPress w3all phpBB integration is conflicting with my membership plugin, Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro. What is happening is the w3all is not allowing any redirects from Ultimate Membership Pro. For example, if you register for my membership site it is supposed to take you to the login page (or any page of my choosing). With your plugin enabled, it constantly redirects everyone to my homepage. I really like your plugin and want to continue to use it. What are your suggestions?

Thank you

Thank you. I am encountering fatal error now since I tried to uninstall and reinstall your plugin. Whenever I input the phpBB absolute path for wp_w3all it locks me out of my WordPress site. I have to ftp into my plugins and rename your plugin folder so I can regain access to my site.

Also, the plugin I am using for memberships is Ultimate membership Pro, not Ultimate Member. Those are two different plugins from different companies.

I've had issues with it locking me out of my wordpress site before too. If I recall, it was because I used the same email account on both my wordpress and my phpbb, and it was de-activating my account on the phpbb side. I seem to remember having to go into the database for my phpbb3 and manually enabling my user account, then I had full access again to both my wordpress and my phpbb3.

taking a look (if these are free plugins), but in the while, i've test this thing, this my results:
deleted the plugin after uninstall: all work fine, since the plugin has been deleted with all files and db data (that are just 5/6 fields).
so i've try to change my email admin account in phpBB to be different than wp: reactivating wp_w3all, i've been redirected to my profile, and my email on fly updated to the one i had set on phpbB.

I've change the email for admin, and with tab opened ready to disable wp_w3all on wp: i try to disable wp_w3all, redirected to my profile, email updated. So i return and i can disable wp_W3all now.

Last test: i uninstall wp_w3all: admins have been setup with different emails: nothing all work as expected.

When reporting an error, please report exactly the error, not a generic fatal error.

p.s even, once the path isn't set ok in wp_w3all, (just put another strange char on path so red alert display) wp_w3all is no longer active anyway in WP. So it can't interfere with anything. Strange issue, perhaps maybe there is some other scenario to discover where it can fail, but impossible to know without knowing the exact error at moment, and how to lead to it.

Ultimate membership Pro isn't a free plugin.
