Yes I like this idea too. Right now login widget seems a little...err...naked ! :oops: :lol: :roll:

At first I think cross-posting was a good idea but now I don't think so.

IF you have repeat data on your website it's not as good for SEO. Better to have different information on the forum and the blog. But I guess it wouldn't be difficult to do...

I agree completely with this latest by elawrenc01 in true.
It could be in case useful for those that have more than one site, and they want publish same content, in different sites. Also this by the way is a not smart behavior. If i'm not wrong, i had learn this, as one of first www important things long time ago:
if spiders find out same exact content in same site, it will be taken as redundant and, we can say, as 'spam'. Not good for SEO.
if spiders find out same content on different sites, they do the same: they will discard completely the second one they find out, and will apply something like a forfeiture, based on algorithms that really few knows, to one or other site. Not good for SEO.
