Most users from phpBB have NO avatar in WP

Hi there.
Have phpBB + WP throught w3all. And 2 BIIIG problems
1. When user logins first time to WP - he gots error
Error: username or email already exist

The username or / and email address provided already exist, or result associated, to another existent user account on our forum database.
Please return back

I personally got it just even here. This is normal? ? How to fix it?

2. Almost all users do not have avatars in WP, if it sets in phpBB. Furthermore - the users sees their avatar in the WP by themselves, but the rest users - sees only gravatar standart pic. But there are exceptions to this rule (only 2 or 3 user of all). What is the reason? How to fix?

looking as soon, thank for report about user already exist

about avatars, at moment no idea since for some you have and others not. The only reason, apparently could be due to the fact they have not setup an avatar in phpBB (that is obvious stupid consideration)

ok just got the problem about user exist, so the 1.5.3 will be released as soon to fix this and several more bugs/features.
The problem disappear if user reload page or try to login a second time or, if login in a different way, it was not coming out. 1.5.3 will be ready very soon.

But about avatars all seem to work nice here, while i will test on fly some other setting on phpBB, testing out things, before 1.5.3 release.

Same time, same page, two different users. Now you got the situation and crux of problem?

Maybe I can... erm... "resync" the avatars in WP from phpBB?

1.5.3 has been released, but it only fix two bugs, one about avatars, but is not related to this result.

Can you detect if these users that have not phpBB avatars into WP, have all some specific type of avatar (also if i've test all three possibilities) and witch kind in case?

For now situation is OK. Will se what about new registrations...
