Upgrade Time!

Post by DjPorkchop73 »

Hello! Long time since we last chat. I hope life finds you well.

I am still running version 2.4.4. I am wondering if there is any special procedure I need to follow to upgrade to the current version. I have heavily modified my install and I really hate to just hit the update button in my Wordpress Plugins tab.

I appreciate the info. Have a fantastic day/night!

Hello dear! Little delay on answer.
There are no changes applied to the few plugin's db rows, so that you could:
Save via FTP the actual plugin version.
Then update the plugin via admin or manually.
If u need to revert, just re-upload old plugin's files overwriting with your old files.
But there should be no reason to worry too much about this, all will be fine!
If any problem just post!

As always I really appreciate the reply. I do daily backups of my databases and websites anyhow so that is no worry at all. :D Glad to hear it is a quick one this time. I know a few versions back it was no so fun there for a few days for me.

I will give it a go and report back any issues I may encounter. Thanks once again and I hope all is going well over your way!
