1.3.9 cookie problem ACP

Post by mikotoiii »

Hey there,

It appears as though there's a problem with the cookie that the plugin creates that stops you from being able to view the ACP at all, either though the iframe, or from a direct url.

If you rename the plugin in the wp-content/plugins directory then clear your cookies you can access the acp again.

If you don't rename / remove the plugin, and clear your cookies, then access the page (outside of wordpress) then it will still not allow you to see the acp.

Hello, i've just login phpBB admin without problems, both online tests and localhost, have you change something about your cookies in phpBB?
Have you change password in WP, and you try to login with old phpBB password?

No changes to my password, and no changes to cookies. Only thing that I can think of that changed was we updated our theme, but everything seemed to be working in all my tests (it was working earlier without any issue), and I tried to register a user from wordpress. After the user was registered is when I noticed the acp was no longer working.

It seems that I got it fixed. I removed the plugin directory, and re-uploaded and re-installed the plugin. The ACP seems to be working again. Not sure why it happened, but it seems to be working again.
