WP_w3all file class.wp.w3all-phpbb.php has been patched to definitively resolve the detection and correct code response, in case a phpBB username to be added in WordPress, contains characters not allowed in WordPress. Check it here:

about banning options have been fixed/patched.
To update/patch, download file class.wp.w3all-phpbb.php and replace into
/wp-content/plugins/wp-w3all-phpbb-integration folder.
