On my site I have wordpress installed as https://geocaching.se, and phpBB installed as https://forum.geocaching.se
From what I can tell, all configuration is done correctly.
The synchronization of login tokens between the two sites works well, but when I have the plugin activated, it is not possible to reset the WP-password from the user side. The user gets an email, and can enter a new password, but the new password does not work in wordpress OR phpbb. As far as I can tell, the password is modified in the WP database, but apparently not to the correct value. If I modify the password from the admin UI, the new pwd can be used by the user.
I could live without the account syncing, but disabling the plugin also disables the nice plugins to show the latest posts.
I have checked the PHP error logs, and can't see anything out of the ordinary.
Any ideas?

Re: Problems with resetting password with the WP/phpBB plugin
maybe it is not a password problem but a cookie problem?
is this the setting into your phpBB ACP cookie setting?
.geocaching.se
logout from phpBB acp, clean cookies on browser if changed something as explained on this procedure
https://www.axew3.com/w3/2016/02/config ... ubdomains/
that i assume you've already see ... if yes, the behavior you report is very strange.
