Hi! Thank for appreciation. It just do the dirty work, but let say it can be also coded better ... we'll go to improve time by time.
Sync of posts between phpBB and WordPress, mean i post into phpBB and the post is published into some WP cat, and published WP posts into phpBB?
It can be done quite easy, but it has not been introduced, nor i think will be.
It is merely a reason that concern spiders and SEO ... In effect i do not understand kind of things that go to repeat same content into same site.
Doing things like this lead to this probable result:
1) if spiders founds same content repeated, will downgrade your seo score.
2) your site will probably look like a "spammer" of some content. Not good another time.

It is quite obvious that a good algorithm that check for indexing some page, implement a strong code about discard duplicate contents.
Well it is not clear to many how much this can impact, but you can be sure that this in some way will result as not good.
The only good thing to do, is, instead, to link contents one between others, when they treat maybe same arguments, but explaining something different or the same, but with different words (title/content).

External links that point to your site, and kind of sites you links mainly on your site, are the ingredients, with valuable content, that can lead your site to shine. Forget all the rest.

If in all the above, i'm wrong with some meaning, and instead the sync of posts between cms should be implemented for some reason, please let know.
This discussion is "really open"!

could be a good thing to have a "featured posts list" widget
posts from a specific forum, or posts with specific ID, retrieved to be displayed into a wp widget.
Featured post list ... maybe not bad idea?

About to have WP content into phpBB, require to add code with a little mod for phpBB ...
for those interested on how to connect phpBB to an external db it is here:
how to connect phpBB to an external db

By the way, a little library of ready mods for phpBB to perform various common and useful tasks between WP and phpBB will be considered as possible and implemented on the online documentation.

ah ok i see ... if i've understand ...
the Read Full Article, on this post
http://fextralife.com/forums/t37722/
just point to a post in WP, that is retrieved onclick ... that's good, but as said, this can't be a WP plugin feature.
This is impossible as you can imagine. You need a connection in phpBB side, and this is a WP plugin.
A (very easy to do) snippet of code to add in phpBB, maybe an easy mod, yes, not into a wp plugin, this is not possible.
while the url
http://fextralife.com/sleeping-dogs-review/
point to an article in WP, that is pushed from a phpBB post?
Because if it is, we return to the above mentioned about duplicated content.

Maybe better an iframe? A short code with id of the post, that will display the post as iframe, into wp posts ...
Also this can be a good implementation on this plugin.
Let know if i'm wrong in something that i've maybe not well understand.
