phpBB links on email notifications to point to WP forum page, instead of full forum - .htaccess or phpBB code mod?

Think this should be added somewhere as documentation hint.
As phpBB notification emails about new posts, messages etc arrive with link that point to the forum full, and not to the integrated WP forum page, would be maybe useful to add just some .htaccess code into phpBB .htaccess, redirecting to correct WP forum page, or a little mod hack into some file, some way that i will try to check.
Anybody know in the while what would be the best easy way between the two, and maybe some easy example hint to start to achieve this result?

i will take a look after coming very soon 1.6.3 that will fix the important problem about phpBB password check.
