When a phpbb user is created, it doesn't create for WP...
i would add: at same time.
(it is, i was supposing, quite well explained on help install, on linked post, and in several posts and elsewhere).
When user register in phpBB side, it is not created at same time into WP. It is added in WP, in this case, when user visits WP side as phpBB logged in, or login WP side first time.
I cannot use more clear words than these to let understand the joke with my Eng.

... how to turn easy things into complicated things ...

this the solution to this issue that will be applied in this way (linking another time this topic):
When user register in phpBB, can be added/registered at same time into WordPress?

I think Modeni1 is referring to this known topic: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=625 (which you already linked)
w3all does not create the login for Wordpress.
When a phpbb user is created, it doesn't create for WP... only for when a WP user is created, is DOES create for phpBB. Kind of a one way street for now. The link above gives some information about that.

Hello all! Yes right suggestion! Choose one, not use both! It could also lead to have some possible problem for yours installations.
Do not use together things that are doing the same tasks.
I do not know Bridge PRO dd, but if it can integrate adding concurrently an user in WP, when he register in phpBB than should be not only a pure WP plugin. It should for sure go to add code into both, a mod maybe in phpBB, and a plugin in WP.

On WP_w3all, pure WP plugin, an user is added into phpBB at same time if user register in WP side. User is added in WP, if registration is done in phpBB side, when this user come as logged in phpBB, to visits WP side, or when login first time WP.

Said that, this has been explained in this post, how will be resolved on next version this situation:
When user register in phpBB, can be added/registered at same time into WordPress?
the post not mention that the same trick can be also applied to get user's profile fields updates at same time also when done in phpBB.

But W3all does not bridge the users.

I want the user to sign up with phpbb and also create a wordpress user account.

Bridge Pro DD does this but I was hoping W3all can achieve this also.

1. I need the forum i frame on my website and 2. i need the phpbb users and wordpress users bridged

what would you advise? many thanks
