Ok, maybe the explain is not ok.

A valid WordPress username is one that only has alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers), spaces, and/or certain special characters, namely spaces, underscores, hyphens, periods, and @ symbols. No other special characters are allowed.
So you can use obviously spaces to create usernames accounts into phpBB!

But remember that if an username is found with unwanted chars that are not
alphanumeric, spaces, underscores, hyphens, periods, and @

(so other chars not suitable for wordpress) the plugin code as is now, will purge the username, until possible removing unwanted chars, and as explained somewhere, so you'll have as result an user with different usernames, linked by same email (as easy it can be argued).

2.7.4 is coming very soon to fix all main bugs, and will be very cool ;)

Hello!
Thank you very much for the extension, registration works and I don’t need anything else for now. But I have a question.
I read in the documentation for your extension that it will not be possible to use any characters other than letters and numbers to create a login.
Is there any way to get around this? Users asked me, many want the nickname “First Name Last Name”. That is, him need a “space” when creating a login.
Or am I wrong and can I set any characters for the login?

Really NP! Very nice, remember: these are a wp plugin and a phpBB ext.
They do NOT change NOTHING into yours WP or phpBB but just manage user's sessions, pass changes, emails.
The unique thing you have to worry, once the integration will be maybe dismissed whenever you'll want, is the fact, that WP users may will have to reset the pass in order to login. Because the hash used is normally (but depend by the way you use about pass hash option) the one of phpBB, that without the plugin installed, will not be recognized by wp.

To fix this, in case of uninstall and user's hash has changed in the while, and you do not want to let users to reset their pass, it would require a simply plugin of 10 lines or 20 at max whenever required.

And yet I managed to break the forum. ))
In the settings I specified the URL with a trailing slash. This was done in haste. I later changed this, but now I get an error when logging into the forum from any device. Is it because of the slash?
Deactivating the plugin didn't help. Same error. However, everything is fine in WordPress. Rolling back the files and database until yesterday did not give anything. What can I do now?
