Nice! But sorry, i've not understand a thing about the suggested plugin:
can it be configured, to add the logged user, into each subsite/site, without asking him to be added?
Or it is requested that the user do an action to be added into each subsite?
There is option, that register the user without any user action/decision?

If no, this option will be added into coming 1.8.0, if yes, we can move on this option addition.

P.S: checked and moved on
https://wordpress.org/plugins/join-my-multisite/
-> Auto-add users
- Have a ‘Join This Site’ button in a widget
- Keep things exactly as they are
...

Ah yes, I didn't think of another plugin for some reason. Thank you - I've installed Join My Multisite and it does the trick nicely.

i have 5 min to dedicate and looking for this option, because after a first check into some reference about, i've fall on this:
.... is a prolific multisite plugin developer. She recently released Join My Multisite. This is a brand new plugin that makes it easy for users across a multisite network to join each other’s sites. After network activating the Join My Multisite plugin, each site admin will have three new options for new memberships on their own sites:
there are plugins for this you aim to, and i know now that it is normal the behavior i've suppose.
The wp_W3all plugin, do what in WP is the default, correct result.
I will may take a look to get this result without using any external plugin, with just a function, and an option about into WP_w3all config page.

I'll let know about the going on about this, that in case will be so added into 1.8.0 WP_w3all as option.

Hi, yes it should be option in case, so it is possible to not use it, and instead use the actual behavior, adding user only to the first visited, main or subsite. The user could be forced and redirected to a specific site after phpBB login with proper code, in the case is necessary to add him only into one specific site (as it is actually the behavior that i think is the default: i will follow with test to check this, but i assume it is correct as is now). So can be useful in several needed configurations.
Ok let see if it can be possible without many code nightmares, 1.8.0 will maybe contain some good news about!

p.s Instead unfortunately, patient isn't my virtue: i know patience is for strong!

My middle name is 'Patience'. 8-)
Thanks for your patience, by the way.

I think mine is a fairly default WP MUS setup, but I don't have another for testing.

I notice now that the subscriber is in the /archive/ subsite.

Presumably this is the subsite he first visited. This allows him to publish content on that subsite.
But, as mentioned, he is not registered as a user at /museum/ so he cannot publish content there.

This suggests to me that I (we) need an option (as you suggested) "that on WP MSMU, coming logged phpBB users are added on fly in WP MSMU not only into first site they visit, but also into any other subsite".

hi! Be patient :)
Let me understand and do a step more, so when i will return over for the 1.8.0 that will try to fix all about common iframe issues (for not too skilled users that need all ready, and working), will add seo for iframed posts and several more things, we can add also this one about MUMS.
I'm doing a new interesting plugin, that i not want to speak about until not completely ready, so sorry if i not go deep with tests and understanding all WP documentation (also due to my bad eng).

My question is:
into a default WP MUMS install, a registered subsite user, do not have this behavior?
If yes as i presume (but maybe i'm wrong), should we add the option into plugin, that on WP MSMU, coming logged phpBB users are added on fly in WP MSMU not only into first site they visit, but also into any other subsite?
