i've register an user into your forum, but after i've click on activation email link, it still result as not active and can't login phpBB.
so i can try to login WP, but until not active in phpBB, will not be added into WP side.
Is the user you're testing in same condition? Your scenario is: you let register users in phpBB, so until they aren't active, aren't added into WP when as logged come to visit, or login, WP side.
Is this maybe the problem?

[EDITED]
p.s i've yesterday close the pc just after this reply, opening today so i just need to precise:
i've see that your example user on video is logged, but mine not, so after registration test, i've write the report of what happen.

nice trip looking your video! I like the way you've shown the problem :D
It look like that the user isn't recognized into WP side due to one of the following facts maybe:
1) the cookie isn't recognized in WP, to check this, you can try to login the user in WP and see if in this case the user is correctly added/logged.
2) http/https: the forum is under http, while WP is forced under https: force phpBB to be https also than, and login as https in phpBB than try to go to WP side (also https), than the cookie will be recognized (this is a normal behavior for cookies).

Have you setup as explaine on help install, the phpBB to be like:
.mydomain.com
and the path to single slash
/

follow what explained on procedure about logout and clean cookies on browser if you change this setting in phpBB:
https://www.axew3.com/w3/2016/02/config ... ubdomains/
about https/http: if your wp is under http, than also your phpBB need to be http, https if https.

Hello!

The plugin now works thanks. ;)
By cons I still encounter a problem once connected to phpbb. It is impossible to connect to wordpress ..

I made a short video to show you

i've after re-think this morning about this, and i see that the user, when register in WP, is added in phpBB as normal registered user.
Pre-defined groups
Pre-defined groups are special groups, they cannot be deleted or directly modified. However you can still add users and alter basic settings.
The solution to this, is to change phpBB Registered users Group permissions into ACP.
The result you can see here, when you register, you can post and see any forum, but i could set some hidden based on further forum's permission and so on: in this online example, it's set that any new user, need to have a validated/moderated post, before to post without restrictions on all forums.

So, resuming the answer to this problem should be this:
it is necessary to setup in ACP -> Group Permissions the correct setting permissions to match the thing like you want, assuming that the plugin, when an user register in WP, add the same user into phpBB under the Registered users Group.

Hi! about
When a new user signs up on wordpress, all forums are invisible because he does not add to any group on the phphbb forum.
the problem is the one reported into the other post, i will check as soon i can about this.

About the widgets not showing instead, it's a problem that i can't figure out at moment by what can be caused, but after activated widgets, have you try out to switch for a while to a default WP theme like twentisixteen or one of others WP default themes? What happen?
